Who We Are?

The Mosquito Creek Foundation provides subsidized senior’s housing. Our Foundation owns and operates the Silver Willow Lodge in The Town Nanton, and also manages Kilmorie Place in Nanton and Oxley Manor in Stavely Alberta. Our Foundation is a non-profit organization.

Affordable and secure Lodge, Self Contained, Supportive and Designated Assisted Living options are all available through this Foundation. We are proud to partner with the local Municipal Government and Provincial Government Agencies, as well as Alberta Health Services to provide these programs to the community.

The Nanton Medical Centre is also owned by the Mosquito Creek Foundation and is located across the street from Silver Willow Lodge.

 

What does the Mosquito Creek Foundation offer?

There are 4 types of seniors’ living options offered including Lodge or Supportive Living and Designated Assisted Living (DAL) accommodations at the Silver Willow Lodge and Self-Contained Senior’s accommodation at Kilmorie Place and Oxley Manor.

1. Independent Living. A Lodge setting is home-like where our residents can furnish their own rooms, maintaining their privacy while enjoying an active lifestyle in a community atmosphere where housekeeping and meals are provided.

2. Supportive Living takes the Lodge option one step further and offers additional support as required on an individual basis.

3. Designated Assisted Living (DAL) in Silver Willow is an alternative to traditional nursing care offering 24 hour care with private bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. Dining and Common areas are located centrally in a cozy group setting. Our Health Care Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses provide assistance with health related issues, medications, meals, personal grooming, bath assistance and various daily living tasks.

4. Self Contained Living accommodations are offered at Kilmorie Place in Nanton and Oxley Manor in Stavely Alberta. The resident can enjoy independence with the ease of a maintenance free lifestyle.
